Tiger cubs on viewDaily, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. – Tiger cubs Viktor and Talya, born September 26, 2011, are on exhibit daily 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. along with their mother, Marta. Due to weather conditions or the animals’ well-being, they may be removed temporarily from public exhibit.

Winter Weekends Saturday and Sunday, February 4-5 – Ice carving demonstrations will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and Zooper Bowl will celebrate football with gridiron games, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Sunday will feature an indoor inflatable bounce house. Both days feature the Toledo School for the Arts performing at noon, 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. Cabin fever feeds will allow visitors to watch animals as they chow down.

Vineyard AdventureSaturday, February 11, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. – Fine wines, edibles and live entertainment will be featured in the Arctic Encounter. For ages 21 and over. Call (419) 385-5721, ext. 6001, to make a reservation.

Winter WeekendsSaturday and Sunday, February 11-12 – On Saturday, ice carving demonstrations will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and animals will receive appropriate treats for “Vanimal-tine’s Day.” Sunday will feature the Ballet Theatre of Toledo performing at 1:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Both days include an indoor inflatable bounce house, plus animal feeding demonstrations.

Winter WeekendsSaturday and Sunday, February 18-19 – On Saturday, ice carving demonstrations will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Both days feature Zap Entertainment’s One World, Many Stories at 1:00 p.m. and the Wonderful World of Bubbles at noon and 2:00 p.m., plus an indoor inflatable bounce house and animal feeds.

Free Admission for Lucas County ResidentsSaturday through Monday, February 18-20 – In addition to free admission, Lucas County visitors also get zoo coupons to use throughout the weekend, along with an offer for a free return visit in March. Proof of residency is required.

Winter WeekendsSaturday and Sunday, February 25-26 – On Saturday, visitors can play in Fami-lympics games from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Sunday will feature the Wanna Bees preschoolers show at 12:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. Both days feature animal feeds.
