Harbor House Sets Third Annual Car Raffle
Harbor House, a transitional housing facility for homeless women recovering from chemical dependency, will hold its third annual car raffle to benefit the agency. Warm Up Lucas Country Coat Drive Under Way
The Norman and Louise Jones Foundation is conducting its second annual Warm Up Lucas County coat drive. All winter items, including coats, hats, gloves and scarves for all ages and sizes will be collected during the month of September. Donations may be made at American Care Givers, 6202 Trust Dr., Holland, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
United Way Accepts Donations For Storm Victims
Local relief agencies and emergency response personnel have chosen United Way of Greater Toledo to collect and distribute donations for long-term storm rebuilding efforts in Wood and Ottawa counties.
To make a donation, visit www.unitedwaytoledo.org then choose either Wood County or Ottawa County. Each page will have specific instructions on how to donate to that county’s relief efforts.
