Animal Food, Supply Drive Under Way

Holly Farms Animal Care Center is accepting donations of food and supplies for area animal shelters such as Toledo Animal Shelter and Nature’s Nursery.

Donations may be dropped off at Holly Farms Animal Care Center, 6705 W. Bancroft St., Toledo. Wish lists for the shelters are available at Holly Farms and can also be viewed on the shelters’ Web sites. For more information, call Holly Farms at (419) 841-3323.

Dog Obedience And Manners Classes Set

The Toledo Area Humane Society offers ongoing Good Manners and Basic Obedience classes for dogs on most Thursdays from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Led by certified trainer John Brown, the classes are limited to 12 dogs. Humane Society Offers Pet Nail Clippings

The Toledo Area Humane Society, located at 1920 Indian Wood Circle in Maumee, offers nail clippings for cats and dogs every Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. No appointment is necessary and a $10.00 donation will be requested. Pet micro-chipping is also available for $25.00 by appointment only. For more information, call (419) 891-0705.
