History Lecture Series Set At Maumee Branch Library
The Wolcott House Museum Guild 2017 Lecture Series will be held at the Maumee Branch Library, 501 River Rd., on Thursdays in February and March at 10:00 a.m.
Programs include “All But Forgotten: The Story of Dudley’s Defeat in 1813” by author James Emch on February 9, “Famous Americans Who Lost the Presidency” by author Gerald Bazer on February 16, “Historical Local Stories” by author Clint Mauk on February 23, “Here Comes a Mountain Man” by living historian Red Bear on March 2, “Survey and Founding of Perrysburg, Ohio” by author Gary Franks on March 9, “On the Trail of Lewis and Clark” by historian Jonathan Stealey on March 16, “Native Americans Who Were in Northwest Ohio” by historian Judith P. Justus on March 23 and “Highlights of History in Stories” by historical raconteur Jim Bowsher on March 30.

Monclova Community Center Announces 2017 Events
The Monclova Community Center, 8115 Monclova Rd., Monclova, will host a variety of events throughout 2017.
Trivia nights will be held on Fridays, February 17, May 12, August 11 and November 10.
History lectures are scheduled for Wednesdays, April 5 and July 12 and Sunday, October 1.
Holiday events are planned for Wednesday, February 15, “Valentine’s Day Night Out;” Wednesday, April 12, “Easter Egg Hunt;” Wednesday, October 25, “Halloween Back” and Wednesday, December 13, “Christmas Celebration.”
Other special events include “Ritzee Resale” on Friday and Saturday, March 24 and 25; “Murder Mystery Dinner” on Friday, April 21; “Mom-to-Mom sale” on Sunday, August 6; “Employee Recognition Event” on Wednesday, August 9; “Reverse Raffle” on Friday, September 15 and “Monclova Market Days,” coming late summer/early fall 2017.

Toledo Area Genealogical Society Sets Meetings
The Toledo Area Genealogical Society (TAGS) meets from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. the second Monday of the month from September to June.
